I have a Texas Roll Back trailer that i will be selling. Steel deck, aluminum removeable fenders, two built in storage boxes below the deck, plus two lights in the center of the deck for night loading. Last year it got new heavy duty trailer tires, new bearings and fresh brakes. Since I mainly use it to carry the 46, I wasnt taking any chances, so mechanically it is in fantastic condition. The deck mechanism works perfect, and makes this trailer a breeze to load a car. These trailers are fantastic for low profile cars, as there are no ramps, and the drive on is at a low angle so it wont damage front spoilers. Just drive it on, I have it marked to position a GS, or full size car and stop on the mark. Get back in your truck and pull the deck back into position. No need to worry about hitting car doors on the fenders, because they just are not in your way. No need to lug ramps around, or wonder if they are going to move while your driving the car on, or scaping headers on the edge. In 2006 I paid $4000 for this trailer new, at JE ADAMS in Chicago. Asking $2200 obo
You should post a pic of the rear sitting on the ground, ready to drive a car on it....interesting idea.
Mark Put me in line for this, I will send you a pm on it. I may just purchase and use it for bringing lesabre back. Phil
I just wanted to put myself in line, not trying to jump ahead. I will be heading out to Mark's in the next few weeks to pickup a car and was going to have to rent a trailer to bring it back. This would just make a great package deal for me to bring back. Phil
The main deck is 18ft and the axles are 7000 # rated Alan, I have no idea what it weighs, more than I can lift, hows that for an answer
For what it's worth, we have one of these trailers. It's an all aluminum one. It's the greatest trailer I have ever pulled and used! Easy operation and no problems.
This gives a better idea of how a TRB trailer works. So simple to load and unload. Trailer is 78 inces between the fenders. You'll never worry about skinning the door bottoms on the fender wells with this trailer, or trashing a low hanging spoiler. When the car is loaded on, you simply get back in the tow vehicle , lock the trailer brakes and pull the deck back into the trailering position. 3-4 minutes to load your car. there are 4 heavy duty D rings built into the deck. The notched deck in the rear of the trailer allows you to get under the car and secure the rear axle with ease.
