Wow! Good spot on the stacks Tim, did you notice the truck mirrors? The big ones for towing with! That guys test results are back. He failed the IQ test.
Sad thing is, there are probably 100 mopar guys drooling over that auction...they probably want the wing struts for their 76 Cordoba project car!
Why do people do this?? I found this one in Galveston. It had stickers on it from San Antonio. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/amdn/3959819879/" title="... by Brian Starr, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3462/3959819879_5a1dd281d2.jpg" width="500" height="334" alt="..." /></a> The visor across the top of the windshield was made out of that chrome tape that you use on A/C ducts. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/amdn/3960591042/" title="... by Brian Starr, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2516/3960591042_ebe64e7dc1.jpg" width="500" height="334" alt="..." /></a> You ever seen those lights that are on the roof of 1/2 ton trucks? The rocker panels on this car were covered in them. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/amdn/3959819385/" title="... by Brian Starr, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2625/3959819385_fef5a54be5.jpg" width="500" height="334" alt="..." /></a> That's more A/C duct tape in the back window. The window was not broken. Here's the owner: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/amdn/3960590398/" title="... by Brian Starr, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3528/3960590398_bb77cd8548.jpg" width="333" height="500" alt="..." /></a> I tried to ask him about it, but he tipped his hat and kept walking.
Where we let the horses run there is a firebird someone did up just like that, stacks and all. The funny part is the stock poncho 350 and stock gears in the diffs make for a useless vehicle with 60" rubber on the stupid thing. It can't even climb out of the mud they run it in, they had to get towed out. Top end must be somewhere above 250 mph though, don't you think? They should take it to Bonneville and try their luck there. I'll get picks. Mikey
