Wow Mike, please, please get some pics! I visited a local guy that had a 65 GS 4 speed car.....he had another 20+ cars in the barn. The highlights were a 1950's Chrysler 300 with dual quads and a real Mustang BOSS 429! There is some good stuff out there...you have found quite a stash!:TU:
the lesabre ran when they parked it, the 56 buick hard top ran, the gs 350 ran...and several others. I got the feeling that some of the stuff could be bought...but I didnt ask. Mike
Yesterday, I was sooo tempted to detour to Clinton while on my way home from southwest MO via Hwy 71. I think my dispatch would've send a rescue/recovery team though.
Do tell many would like to know if any of the the Stage 1 4spd's are for sale I am sure this is a well known story but a well known Mustang collector was in Mexico on vacation and showing some pics to his new friends and when a pic of his beloved Boss 429 was seen a local gentleman says he has one of those. A short very quick trip to his Casa ended with this collector looking at a 69 Boss 429 with no engine being used as a dog house. He posted pics in Mustang Monthly. After making several trips to Mexico he bought 13 rare cars including a notchback Shelby that is documend and now restored. He found a 69 L88vette and yes bought that too. Seems like a lot of these cars went south across the border.
oh my god... I want to go there so badly... so many of my dream cars are sittin in those barns!! I want pictures lol
Pics? It's like starving and smelling a pepperoni & sausage pie but you can't find your way to it. :error:
Considering me clicking on this thread will be the 1,500th viewing, I would say alot of us are waiting on pictures lol!
