Who asked you to butt into my FOR SALE thread ?? Are you buying ?? I think not because I wouldn't even sell you the used air out of my :moonu: after that comment. For the record, the Spare Tire I removed the NOS air from WAS NEVER INSTALLED IN A CAR. I have had it and the air verified by an independent authority - Ronald, Mooneyes, Cheatum, and How Lld
That's a good point, I think the ad should be changed, and maybe priced accordingly. Sure, 11k is a good price for nos, but installed air makes it used oem, not nos. NOS air would not have schrader valve markings on the molecules. I'm thinking more along 9-9.5k.
Do you have any paperwork to back up your NOS claim on that air. Seems there are lots of air out there with a claim that it's original, but most of it is just hot air. If you can't varify that it is NOS I will have to take Yardleys offer to go down on my tires.
this is sofa king funny.....I have nos air, still in the original poly-glass packaging for a 72 from flint. for these kinda prices, If i can get close to the same as what you are asking for your 69 air I wont need to sell my first born to afford some other parts.:3gears: I will sell mine for 15k since i am offering it in the original packaging
Sorry, Duane, I didn't know Jason was supposed to hold his air for you. :eek2: I'll try to get some air that's close (within a year or two) for my GSX. But if I do so, I have a question about judging. Is the air checked in concours class? And if so, are points deducted for air that is not date coded correct or has incorrect Schrader valve markings? Thanks.
First off Wander, I responded and said I was interested and asked if you would take a little less. I have a guy in Erie, Pa that has the same exact air for 11k. And he has a sweet intake for sale too that he'll give me for a steal. So 10,500. Take it or leave it :moonu: Duane- Dont worry buddy. I have some extra air stashed away just for you.
Is it bias-ply or radial air? This is really important it would be very bad to put the wrong type of nos air in the wrong type of tire.
Thats it J.Crook, you're off the possible buyers list with that last remark. I wouldn't sell you the rarified air I dispense after a TacoBell all niter at this point. ... and you can now forget about coming over to adjust my shifter rod like you nemtioned this morning  Some People .... So who was next in line ?? Come on now, I feel an itchin' for a WildCat intake manifold coming on but I need to dispense with this gas first.
I would be more than willing to purcahase your air for my high dollar restoration on my 1969 Stage4 Sport Wagon 4 speed #s matching (1 of 1). But first you must agree to foward me a sample so I can have it analized by NASA to verify it authentisity. Not that I think that this is a scam or anything like that but I am not that familiar with NOS air and need to be reassured by the experts. Rest assured that if this is a scam I will report you to the proper authorities and have you prostituted to the fullest extent allowed by law !
What is the date code of this air? Is it correct for 69 Buicks only or can it be used for multi-makes/ multi-years? Is there a possibility that it is NORS air that been place in an original GM tire? I have factory documentation that some spare tires left the assembly plant FLAT and it was up to the owner to fill it with air... If it is correct, 1969 Date coded NOS air, I will send you a money order for $100,000. Send me bak $50,000 of it and i will kept it and you can hav the difffeeerrrence. Pleaze understood that I am a Somalian King that just abtained power and neede to licuidate the former kingz monies to stablize our economiy., Please let uts know if you can let uz buy. Thanq you, King
I have a Rally Wheel that is in perfect condition except for a bad case of Curb Rash. Yardley looked at it and offered me a free "Rim Job" which I declined. Beware of some of his other services now that he may be in trouble because of the economic conditions.
the prices must be influenced by evil bay.....pamusclecar lists a used rusty hood latch/center support for almost $300.....if it was nos it would go for about $8,732
Sorry Alan, But it's a buyer beware market out there.....of course I can't afford your air since all of my money in invested in my reproduction "new tire whiskers" make your old tires look new again!
any idea if this is plain ol skylark air or the super lightweight gsx air lookin to pickup a few extra tenths at the track this spring :3gears:
