Wow....never thought they would convert a 70 buick to electric. Someone ought to ask the sellr if it runs on 1.21 Jiggawatts. Its also "garbage keep"uzzled: wtf?? Im assuming he means garage kept? 1970 Buick "Electric"....what a dope http://cgi.ebay.com/1970-buick-electric-225_W0QQitemZ150228407669QQihZ005QQcategoryZ12QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Just goes to show you how widely accessible the internet really is, these days...to pretty much everyone! Devon
You guys it is a sign, I had a dream the other night about Hybrid early 70's kit cars. Chevelles, 442's & GS's and I actually woke up and laughed, must be all of the Green stuff on TV and looking at car magazines before bed. :beer I wasn't even drinking
Wow - and no one's even bothered to comment on the bargain price of only $15,000. I'm sure it would easily bump up to $20,000 with original rallies, maybe only $17,500 with steel wheels and poverty caps. Always wanted a Deuce and a Quarter - might just have to jump on it!p
ou: I think the seller mis-underestimates the importance of placing the decimal point in the correct location! If he moved it one spot to the left and removed the ghetto wheels (hubcaps!) it might be deal.
Hey give the guy a break, he comes from a town called "dolt"on. ou: Maybe it's just the way the description is wriitten, but in mind there's a Borat voice reading it.
Some people should never be allowed to get near a keyboard. This is proof. Why don't they have someone proof read or get out a dictionary?I wasn't sure of the spelling so i got it out.
Hey, at some point in his life at least he chose a Buick - gotta give him points for that. On the serious side, from a distance the car (above the wheel well) does look good. While I wouldn't take Vegas odds on him push-button selling it for $15K, he may eventually come down. It is certainly not a worthless car - no Buick is. Not everyone's particular taste in after market wheels, but they can always be replaced (and sold along with the tires to recover part of the eventual selling price of the car). At least he didn't mess with the suspension or install hydraulics. With a little TLC and a decent set of rally wheels, the car could be a nice driver. Like I said, I always wanted a Deuce and a Quarter... As for the man's literacy, well not everyone is good at reading, writing and arithmetic. Probably needs the money - family, divorce attorney, taxes, who knows. And it might just be breaking his heart to part with his favorite ride, a top of the line Buick no less (one of three times in a man's life he's allowed to cry...the other two being daughter's wedding or dog's passing). And he might be a lot smarter than you think. So he puts it up for $15K with not the best writing and what do you know - "Sorry honey, but I guess gas prices are too high these days, no one wants it after all. Guess we'll need to hang on to it a while...we could always use it as a back up in case the minivan has to go into the shop." Yeah buddy!
Allow me to interperet, as I have children and when they were 3 or 4 yrs old they spoke a similar language: Garage kept, Electra, 1500.00.
