Please help out my friend Rick Brunton. He is looking for a 1973 GS Stage 1. Many of you will recognize Rick as the previous owner of several 1973 Stage 1's which received magazine exposure in the 80's. I attached his article from the March/April 1994 GSXtra where the production numbers of 4-speeds is discussed. Rick had sold all the '73 cars he owned previously and now wants to share in the excitement of these awesome cars once again. Can you blame him? Ideally he would like to find one of the cars he used to own:ray: 1973 Stage 1 4-speed, originally Light Blue repainted Midnight Blue 1973 Stage 1 Auto, Silver Cloud If you know of a 1973 Stage 1 for sale or would consider selling yours please respond to this post or call Rick directly at 219-866-4460. Cell 219-863-4031. He wants a car that is finished and ready to drive. Thanks.:3gears:
The search is over. Rick just bought a totally restored '72. I'm sure he would have had trouble finding a '73 in this condition.
Well, as the previous owner of several '72's, and the current owner of a '72 Sun Coupe, I think I can speak for every other '72 owner here....... Congratulations to Rick and LET'S SEE SOME PICTURES!!
I have a 1973 Buick GS Stage 1 with factory 4-speed for sale. I am the third owner. the body is rough but engine, brakes, exhaust, clutch are all new. I can send pictures. I live in Omaha,Ne.
Eric, is this silver car on ebay Ricks old car? It's in Illinois. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars...hash=item140245618043&_trksid=p3756.m14.l1318
Tom, you are correct. I didn't make the connection until I read your note. Thanks for the information. I think the new owner and Rick will have a good time chatting about this one.
Uh.......:idea2: Wow, that's just wrong. All this guy need's is a chevy cowl induction hood scoop, and he would have all 4 divisions coveredou: Buick car,Pontiac rally wheels,Olds rear deck spoiler:laugh:
Yep.... those Pontiac wheels. On the other hand: it is not easy to get a set of Buick 4.75 wheels here. In Europe we like the big bodies, so 5x5 is easier to find and purchase than those small car wheels.
