Ahhh, the "Just good enough" school of knowledge.ou: ou: If I were to ever try something like that, you all have my permission to smack me upside the head with a 4X2, just as this dingus needs.:af:
Also, he probably drove it at 80 mph. like 1/2 the people pulling trailers these days. :blast: Though, they probably couldn't get above 40 with that little S-10 Blazer.
gotta give him credit he did reinforce it good with the 4x4 support and the 1x4 to spread the load . although the chains , well I used bigger on my dog lease . But the really scary part is that there are idiot like that out there every day . Couldn't tell for sure how he secured the hitch but I am sure it is as secure as the rest to that abortion , death trap . Insurance ???? DUH !!
Just for the record the S10 only uses a 1/4 inch pin on each side tro hold the tailgate on. So for all the weight its only held on by 2 small steel pins....
After looking close at the chain and S hooks I think they are left overs from 4' flourescent lights .
I applaud his ingenuity. Most of us would probably just sawz-all a hole in the roof. This way he doesn't have to hear the four kids in the back seat crying about getting wet when it rains. :TU:
