Better than the GM EOS additive??
This stuffs been around a while, and unlike everything else in the store, the seemingly astronomical price of 35 bucks hasnt seemed to drop much or bottom out like the rest of the snake oil. Its very thin stuff, so maybe it is a "microlubricant", but i havent coughed up the money to try it out yet. I dont know anyone else who has tried it out either, but id be interested in looking into it furthur if anyone has experience or conclusive data. One "snake oil" product that DOES WORK, and i have my own tests to prove it, is the Restore engine treatment. I tried this out in a worn out Buick 350 with 80psi compression in two cylinders, 100 in the other two, and 120-140 in the outer cylinders. Tests after using restore for around 3K miles (burned oil so 3 bottles of restore in this time frame equating to $15) revealed that the compression in the lowest cylinder(80psi) was up to 125 psi, and the rest were up there or higher. Thats 45 psi of compression increase from using restore in the oil for 3K miles. I quit using it after this and over the next 15K miles the compression slowly dropped back down again though not as bad as before, but I do believe in the stuff and it works wonders on worn out motors.
