z bar bracket location

    hi doe anyone have a pic of a fatory 4 speed z bar bracket on the car are the 70s welded on ?

    If you are talking about the frame bracket they are not welded on.ALL A Body frames have TWO holes on top of the frame, drivers side, Just ahead of the fire wall..That is were it is bolted in.. They are threaded holes.. Randy

    BadBrad Got 4-speed?

    Inside the driverside wheelhouse there is a flexible plastic cover screwed into the back-side of the wheelhouse. Remove this and you expose the location for the z-bar bracket on top of the frame.
