Hi everyone, I am after the deflector duct that fits behind the mini console as pictured below. I have circled the duct outlets in the photos to be clear about the part I am referring to. The duct attaches to the standard duct work and diverts air around the sides of the mini console or 'Convenience Centre' as Buick called it. If anyone has one of these deflector ducts, please drop me a line. Cheers, Glen
You can buy a nice reproduction since it's the same as a Pontiac with an 8-track player. I'll find a link. I recommend buying it from Ames but the Parts Place also sells it for about the same price and free shipping.
Hi Gary, I'm afraid that is not the same part. I have asked them about it previously and they confirmed that it's not the same. My car is a '73 model.
Bummer. I have one of the reproduction parts for a '68-'72 here that I've not installed yet so if you want me to take additional photos or measurements of it to see if you could modify it to work, I'd be happy to do that for you. Good luck with the search.
