I need four road wheels in nice driver condition for my 1972 Electra 225. 5 X 5 bolt pattern, 6.5" or even better 7" wide X 15" diameter. Will pay top dollar for 7 X 15 road wheels off a Buick Estate Wagon. Thanks for looking
Might be another time to repost Erik Boat Tails wheel chart. The vast majority of wheels available out there will be #895's, which are '71-'78 Big car 15" x 6" with a 5 x 5 bolt pattern. I sold seven, years ago, bought ten more, and then couldn't sell another. Transferred/sold them to a full time Ebayer in El Paso. I could give you his number if you wish. He should be able/willing to ship if he still has any of them. Which I don't know.
These look pretty decent, just need to repaint the centers...........https://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/wto/d/chicago-buick-electra-225-or-wildcat/7487007002.html
Nick, thanks for your reply and the pics, but the pictured wheels would require re-chroming and painting for my use. I now realize that what I'm seeking are four original GM (xlnt) chrome road wheels, with or without freshly refinished black centers. My '72 Electra 225 Custom is in museum quality with only 30,000 original miles and need fresher (new) appearing road wheels even though they were not available for a '72 Buick Electra. I am prepared to pay $200-$250 per wheel (plus shipping) for the right wheels.
i will sell the set off my 72 lesabre. they are in good shape but i need some steelies to stick back on it. im a long way away from you.
m in hazard ky so unless you are within driving distance idk if its worth your time. like i said i need something to go in there place.
Well.....it was hotter than hell after i mowed the yard so i only got around to spraying 5 of the wheels off......no chrome polish or #0000 steel wool has touched them. I have 8 of the 895 wheels....two of two 803's and i have not checked the other two. With re-painted bolt pockets i think these would do your survivor Buick proud. There is NO curb rash on any of them and the bead areas on all of them are clean and un-rusted. Been a long time since i have had any of these wheels this nice.I will select the very nicest 4 to send. $400.00 plus shipping. Peace WildBill
SOLD! What type of payment do you prefer for the four wheels + shipping costs to 91745? I'm unfamiliar with any wheels other than the 895s which another member identified as 71-78 big car, 15 X 6, and 5 0n 5 lug spacing. Any chance of finding 4 really nice rims out of your 895s? Many thanks, Bill Les Iden/ 626-260-6064 14864 Folger St. Hacienda Hts. CA 91745
