... you really want the 69's instead of the 68's anyway. It raises the hood a good 3-4" higher saving your forehead from multiple contusions. Alot of 68 guys switch out to 69 hood hinges.
I'll take them. They are for a friend. They work no problem? His keeps his corners by the windshield up and he has to work it closed.
That's usually an easy fix. Open the hood all the way and loosen the hinge bolts on the fender then have someone push the hood higher from the front while tightening the bolts.
