I looked at a very similar car back in the mid 80's (Bamboo Cream, black vinly top, Bench, no tach/gauges, A/C, etc. - Deluxe/volcano wheelcovers too IIRC) - Was low mileage, rust-free/garage kept since new, orig. (deceased) owner, orig. paint, special ordered, had window sticker/ invoice/ POP, etc. His widow was asking either $4k or $4500 which wasn't unreasonable at the time. It was a nice car. Just didn't do anything for me. I remember saying to the friend who was w/me (also a Buick guy - We were about 18-19 y/o) - It's a Skylark w/a hood & a 455. Not totally accurate of course but really, there was nothing overly special about it and I'm not one who's a Bamboo Cream hater - I've seen some that I really like. I even almost bought the car despite all that brcause it was so nice/orig. - We left & I said to my friend "before I buy it, let's go knock on the guy's door w/the GSX" - An orig. owner ratty/rusty/raced/trailer hitched & pretty worn out car (was still very fast & drove super nice) that everyone had tried to buy - I guess it was the right day and he said he'd sell it for $3800. The guy who bought the Bamboo Cream car stripped the vinyl top, did a color change, added buckets/console, etc. Even back then was still a shame to see all that done to such an original, albeit boring car.
Not exactly what you're looking for but not too far off. Someone just listed a '70 2.93 posi on here & the top could easily be added back - SMS still has the NOS green top material (I need to order a top from them for my Stage 1 4-sp). http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/1970-buick-gs-455.370169/
