Does anyone know the wrench size of the pitman arm nut? I measured 32.6mm and the closest fraction I come up with is 1 5/16". Does that sound right? Wanna be sure before I order a socket for my impact gun.

What is the least messy way to drain the steering ( I am going to install a quick ratio box from Carhex)?

You can go to walmart and pick up a wrench in the hitch section.

ALSO get a pitman arm puller. It can be rented.borrowed from Advance Auto or Crack Zone or maybe even from O'rielly's.

Thank you guys. I will order the 1 and 5/16 socket and an appropriate puller. Walmart and AutoZone are not an option, as "around the corner" for me means a distance of about 4200 miles :).

I think I picked up my puller from NAPA if you have one near you.

    No NAPA in Germany, either.

No need to say sorry, your comment might be of help for some other boardmember residing in US.
I get the stuff online in Germany, have to buy it though, renting is not an option. Most business here are not as customer oriented as they are in US.
