Worth Changing 62 Skylark from 4 lug to 5 Lug up front?
I have a 62 Skylark that will be a street/strip car. I plan to replace the Aluminum 215 with a 350. I plan to put disk brakes on it either way. The way I see it 5 lug has more wheel options, I assume bigger brakes. Disadvantage money, hassle.
    Options please.

I have been in contact with Scarbird for parts info.

The only real advantage to the 5 lug is wheel option/availability.

The Scarebird disc brake conversion is really designed for the 4 lug stock hubs.

I looked at Summits wheels there are 15" 4 bolt wheels available. I'm probably going to run simple black wheels up front. I would love to find some poverty caps (not baby moons).
    Thanks Keith

Whatever wheel your thinking about getting make sure it's disc brake compatible, or it may not fit.

Thanks again Keith, I probably would not have thought of that.
