Hello, I have had a work comp accident in october last fall, and now pain meds are wearing out, the next shot for me is to implant a electric stimulator in the spine for nerve damage in center of the ribs of my chest. Scares the crap out of me touching my spine. I have not been able to work on my car for 6 monthes now. limited to 10 pounds of strength. Craig, I can relate somewhat to your situation! 2 years ago my plant tolds us they were moving to China and thanks for your 16 years of service. They were selling all the equipment ( mold shop-machine shop) so I bought quite a bit of equipment. Well the first piece was a crane and while unloading it off the trailer it fliped off and crushed me. I had 3 cracked vertebrae and it ripped an artery from my intestines. I was in the hospital for awhile and 3 months at home. Still not 100% and figure I'll never be??? Got another job and just got laid off after a year because of a work shortage ( I figure its because I didn't come to work Mondays this fight stories or druken stories or lots of women stories, I didn't fit in very well!!) So far I've never missed a payment and am starting my own machine shop buisness from home ( been a dream for me for quite awhile!) working on street rods ,stock cars , custom bikes, go -carts. God is good!! always provided my needs not always my wants! My point is that God "knows" its all part of his plan. Every thing that happens to us is in his control and for his purpose! Every little detail!! Its taken quite awhile for me to figure this out and to trust him! Bad stuff does happen to us Christians as well. But its all a matter of perspective!I've said many times that God speaks to me with 2x4's (smile) And couldn't understand what in the world he was doing, I was even quite angry for awhile. But as time goes on I can see some of his plan unfolding! And it really makes me smile and know he's right their beside me!!!( Just as he promised!!) I,ve grown tons throughout this expereance! Hello, and thanks. Here is a little bit of myself. I was in my garage in march or 03, of all things cleaning frame to my Apollo. Using parts washer and researched as safe I proceeded to use it. Not thinking of cold weather, I had the heat on in the garage. The evaporating parts cleaner acted as a dioxin, and going thru the burner of heat, turned into monoxide. Poisoning me. This is how God saved me here. It sent me to the hosp, in ER. No response and put me on watch and sent the wife home. By mid of night I was sufficating. The chemical burn my lungs and I was infull pneumonia. Would have been dead at home. After 2 days of testing, The found a killer in my body. I had a 13cm Aneurysm of the arorta above the heart. (John Ritter actor died 3 monthes later of same) I never would have known, no feel to this killer, just sudden death usually about 3 minutes. 3 of 10,000 people survive this aneurysm. I am one!! But my push to get back to work and life, put me in danger, I broke 2 wires holding the ribs together after 13 monthes of open heart. So was off work 4 monthes, and went back. Had 2 strokes due to clots from the valve and kept working at lower work restrictions. Then in Oct this past fall the employer ignored restrictions and demanded and even threatened my job. Being force I tried to do the work. If you cut cheese in your kitchen how do you it?? usually with a wire and roller cutter?? now think of I had wires in my ribs near soft sternum area. With igsurtion of weight and strenth the wires started to cut into my bones not breaking cut cutting, now they hit the nerves of the chest rib center. We took out the wires that remained, but the pain did not disapaite. After 4 monthes on Morphene, it stops working around Christmas / newyears. I was in pain and cried to me wife to just let me "go". With this she checked me into the Crisis pain cancer ward, and finally find a med that works, but is now showing signs of being use to my body again. So implant of electric to stop nerves is next. God has made a testamonie in my already, now I need back up emotionally, and strength . I am also a tool-n-die worker. work on mills and lathes, cnc's. So know your feelings to shop work. I recently at just before injury found my Roadhawk. one of 14 left known to exist in restoreable condition. I have bought many parts but they sit on shelfs till I can do work. Work comp is fighting me, court, attys, etc. I have won 3 sets so far against them. I never lost a payment , Church members here and as far as Alaska and Illionios have sent me cash at unexpected times, Food seems to come in at times of need, I have filed for ssn disability, but have been told a 3 year battle. Activity is about 1-2 hours and I crash. Will keep you in my prayers too. So far God is here and has not quit on me either. Drs were amazed I was alive with that aneurysm. and hold Hosp record for living removal here. craig

Hey how have you been did not see you at gm show or buick show. Hows your 65? We are going to try electric therapy to the nerves, hoping it will stop nerve pain signals, in about 2 weeks. Buick meeting is tuesday eve if can make it stpaul, on snelling. same place. craig
