I have a 1971 GS and have bought a correct black shifter handle for it. This woodgrain handle is correct for the 1970 Skylark/GS. It is in nice used condition with a small chip and a hairline crack (non-functional) on one side only. So, if it's installed with the defects facing front, it probably won't be seen when sitting in the front seats. (see pic 3-5).

These are selling for $100 plus in excellent used condition. Buy this one for your driver for $40 shipped. Paypal F&F, money order, or personal check subject to clearance are acceptable.

Woodgrain shift handle correct for '71 GS cars. You may reconsider - depending on the build date of your car. My car is '71 built 12/70 and has woodgrain shift handle.
