Wires - What are these for?

As I the continue restoration on my 1972 GS Stage 1 car, I have run across three wires that I need help identifying.

All three are within the factory harness that runs from the fuse block to the trunk area and don't appear to be "added" by a previous owner. They do not appear on the wiring diagram. All other connections within this same harness are accounted for (2 side marker lights, gas tank/gauge lead, ground wire to trunk latch brace, plug connector for tail light harness, orange lead for optional trunk light).

Other than the trunk light, I can't find any other "trunk based" options that these wires may be used for?

These three mystery wires are: two red and one black and have a small pin plug on their ends.

Anybody know what these are for?

Someone's hack into the wire harness for trailer lights at one point.

    Adam,

That is a solid conclusion. If that was the case, I wonder though, why they wouldn't have run trailer lights off the taillight harness, keeping the connections outside of the trunk.

Easier to access. You'd have to drop the rear bumper down to do it outside of the trunk.
