Do car dealerships keep copys of window stickers off of cars they sell?

    older dealerships

You do hear on occassion of someone getting a copy of their original records/invoice, etc from some of the older established dealerships (you know the type) but once the older dealers get bought out the new dealers usually clean house.

Oh, that reminds me, is there any way to find out where it was bought from without backtracking through owners?

Not sure what that is, but I have the truck. That is it, no papers, nothing. I do know the name of the guy I bought it from. Still have his phone number, too. P-O-P?

A Protect-O-Plate (P-O-P) usually came with the car in the glove box and was used for warrantee work.

It would tell you original options, in addition to the selling dealership.

No, that isn't there. I found something on www.stovebolt.com about a "Restoration Package" by GM. I wonder if that would say.
