Hello All. I (nor Wilwood) can seem to figure out what kind of rear end we have. They insist there are 3 possibilities, and to use their rear axle flange guide (see link below) to see what I have. What I see matches NOTHING they have listed for GM. It most closely resembles a Ford axle housing/flange. I see "70" stamped on the bottom of the case. Took measurements and pics. They said I have a ford 8" or 9" rear.. is that possible? We bought this car from the original owner, thing has not been touched.

Closest to the second row middle.. Can anyone else confirm what this should be?

It is a Buick & ONLY Buick design. The ring gear is 9 3/8" with 12 bolts holding it on. A BIG bearing Ford 9" is close. Two holes match & two need to be drilled. Why not use your front drums & shoes in the rear???

Its a friend's car, and it will be a show car, he wants same front /rear disc brakes as he will have large wheels exposing the ugly drums. Is there any way to get accurate measurements on the axle flanges? Will need to get some custom brackets made I suppose.
