Don't know, but I used a '94-'96 Impala squad HD rear swaybar on my '71 Riv. Bought new from my local GM dealer along with the u-shaped mounting brackets and bolts that mount the bar to your rear lower control arms. Around $125-150 for all, I think. Nice HD piece. It did require a slight tweak to increase the upward bend at each end for better road clearance. Hda that done at a local truck frame and alignment shop where they have a BIG press. Email me your address if you'd like me to send you some photos of the installed unit.

Sorry, for some reason the fact you have a Riviera skipped my mind. :Dou: Find a 1973 Riviera GS, take it from there. It will fit for sure, 100%

Rear discs and caliper mounting brackets are from a 1979 Cad Seville. Had to weld shut original mounting holes on the brackets and drill new holes for Riv axle tube flange pattern. Bracket fitment placed both calipers at top.

Used a master cylinder and proportioning valve from a '71-'76 Cad Eldo that had 4-wheel disc. Required the equal volume front and rear reservoirs for disc setup. Calipers themselves are identical to front calipers. Pitched Cad calipers with cable-operated p-brake feature. Those calipers are prone to malfunctioning p-brake.

The car has super braking, smooth light pedal action. But, I now have no p-brake, which was never an issue with an AT. I may now have to find a p-brake solution with conversion over to a MT. Maybe some sort of driveshaft p-brake, still to be figured out.

Let me know if you'd like more detailed info on the brake setup requirements and I'll send it along. Pretty inexpensive, easy and straightforward conversion.

so what cars do i need to be looking under to find a sway bar to fit my car? I'm very confused. i don't even know the difference between b and c body cars other than they are a different body style. i also don't know what the Pontiac and olds versions of these cars are. i know my car is an e body and that its the same as a toronado and an Eldorado. but other that that i don't know what to look under when i get to the yards. so if someone would please explain all this to me i would be very grateful.

Those brakes look slick... definately more pics! Ps i ordered sway bar from addco $155. Those rear disc brakes have me thinking....

I wonder if rear disc set up from a newer caprice or impalla ss would bolt up?
