The heading describes it all. Will a 340 bellhousing and flywheel work on a 350 or 455??
    Thanks

The 340 flywheel will work on the 350, but not the 455.

Soooo.....will a repo 350 flywheel work on a 300? Any idea if the balancing is close?
    Thanks,

The flywheel interchanges, but I am not sure about the balance. :Do No:

    Thanks Cheryl!
Guess, I'll have to do some more research.....
I'll be doing a manual trans swap into my Special, using parts from a V-6 car, but I still need a 300 flywheel....

According to T/A Performance the 300-340-350 all can use the same flywheel. This holds true for the 400-430-455 as well, nailheads are different also. I currently run the billet 455 piece in my '69 GS California. Very nice part. Be advised, most local parts stores do not carry the BUICK part. Most will try to sell you a 350 Chevy flexplate. Been there - done this already. Talk to T/A or Kenne Bell to get the right part the first time. Some of the other guys might have a small block flywheel so I'd post here first.
