Very intersting stuff, so the pedals and hangers are from a '65 Impala, is that reproduced or salvage yard material? Is the black plate in the first picture just the cosmetic floor boot or is it structural to the pedal assembly? The stock F-body master cylinder is a push style, no big surprise there, if that helps you out. Are you using a hydralic throwout bearing or a slave cylinder? the honest truth is I've seen an ad for a 61 bubbletop and about the only thing I don't like about Buick's prior to '64 is the transmissions so I'd love to get OD without the fuss of an automatic with adapaters and such. Hense T56+ EELCO bellhousing+ pedal assembly and shifter = fun cruiser.
I thought I would use the EELCO too. Bought it and just did not think it was up too it. I just won a 65 bellhousing on ebay to replace the eelco. There's plenty of cruising between Cinti and Dayton- I think theres one up in Middletown we ought to get together on that. Ted
Ted, you will be watching my taillights all the way there  Here's some pictures of my "progress" so far. This is the car with the mock-up motor for header and motor mount fabrication. Peace WildBill
The Gauntlet has been Laid at Ted's feet........We need someone with a Video Camera to Catch this on Film and document it so there is no questions or debates afterwards!  I am not going to pick a side cause they are both Wildcats! Don
We are into co-operation, not intimidation, but yeah, its time to get some NEW picures, I'm scrounging the old archives to find something to put up since I have not worked on this thang for longer than I want to admit! But there is some great diversity in the projects: 65 vs 66 manual vs auto black vs white ou: (I'm building a black car w/o a/c :spank: ) Nailhead vs 455 Dual Quad vs Q-jet Shorties vs Super Scavengers Ohio vs Indiana  Similarities abound! Wildcats V-8s Overdrive Posi 275-50 15's
