I just had to get on here and say THANKS TO ALL! Especially John, Dave, Brad and Clint who were by me during the entire gas tank endeavor.

We had a great time this year and I really appreciated all the help.
I can't believe how quickly people pitched in to work on my
Wildcat, hell there were times I couldn't even help because so my good people were wrenching on my car... or should I say gas tank.

I really appreciate all the hard work that goes into arranging this event and all the dedication to those who will race to represent the Buicks! There are so many great people to hang out with and race against.

It was a blast and we are looking forward to next year!

P.S. Thanks for making my wife feel comfortable her first time out. We'll make a racer out of here yet.

Thats what seperates us from the rest of the crowd and I am glad to be a part of it. I also want to thank the schmelzers in lincoln for the donation of a intake manifold to replace the one i cracked 2 days before race day. Without theres and robs help i would have been a spectator :ball: Thanks guys. Brad :3gears:

    Rob,

I'm really glad I was able to help out. Though without Tony, I'm not sure that I would have known where to look for a tank. Did the Wildcat make it back all right? I wish we could have taken a picture of the pillow, I mean gas tank before we flattened it. :eek2:

I had a lot of fun at this event and I hope there will be more events like this around here. I would like to thank all the sponsors and organizers for this event. It really made my day to see all those Buicks in my neck of the woods. :beer

Also thanks to John for letting me use your tires and to everyone who gave me advice on how to run my car. You guys made my first time really easy for me. :3gears:

I am in the process of getting some of the pictures Kyli took put on a CD so that I can get them uploaded. I do have some pics now, but more are coming. If anyone would like a copy of the pics, let me know and I can burn a CD and send it to you.

Here are a few of the pics I do have right now, but I should have a lot more tomorrow.

Sorry, guess I didn't make it. :Dou:

I have another problem (same problem I've tried to fix twice :af: ), so don't know if the car is even going to make it to the Shoot-Out in OK at the end of the month. (See attached pic.) Been driving it like this for a while and I know I shouldn't. :spank:

Looks like you guys had fun. Post some more pics. for us to enjoy! :TU:

Hey Dee........ are those the original rear shocks on that???? :puzzled:

Yep! They make the car look like it has a lot more torque! :TU:

Front shocks and springs are original too! Makes the front end look really cool when it torques up!!!!

    No, NOT original shocks. :Dou:

It's a driver and I had to drive it in the rain at our Bash last week so it's really not too clean. Plus all that rear end grease is flinging around everywhere. Nasty!

looks like you have a leaky axle seal there ,or a leaking wheel cylinder
I had to replace an axle seal on my truck, took me less than an hour to change it

I hade a great time, it was nice meeting some new Buick owners, I was kinda dissapointed no other turbo cars showed up. I own the black 86 T-Type that was parked by the BBQ tent. Even though i didnt race, i had fun getting a lil sunburnt.

Mike, that video you made of the pass is awesome!

I kinda wish i would have raced it, but didnt since it was leaning out and didnt know until i added fuel too it (doh) but i wanna race down at the shoot-out, but i need some sticky tires!

Can't wait till next years event. Also, I will be heading to Noble this year also.

Axle seal, AGAIN. This will be the third try. Keep getting the wrong seal for my rear end. That didn't sound right. :Dou:

    Well another year down.

Dave B thanks for everything as always you make it interesting. Rob I don not know what I like more the Cat or that awsome wheelie you rip off in the Black car. Clint the "pillow" talk is like Vegas, it stays at the track.

Rob I may have found a local guy with a 68 tank, seeing as I have you sender still. Will go see him this week.

Falley, Greg and Eric, Clint, Brad, Mike Steve P., P.D. Rob B. WOW who else was there? Anyway thanks everyone. How many Buicks did show any count?

    Later Everyone and Thanks Again
