Mine made 923hp with 2" primaries and 4" non merge collectors. 0.650" lift 270' @0.50 cam with 387cfm flowing stg2 heads
My exhaust ports averaged 235, thats right about 2” on the chart. Made best power with the 2” borrowed headers. 703 hp. Made 679 with the homemade 2 1/8”.
My exhaust ports flowed .400 - 207.4 .450 - 230.2 .500 - 241.4 .550 - 250.2 .600 - 259.5 .650 - 265.2 .700 - 268.3 Mightve made more power with 2 1/8 headers, guess we will never know as I have sold it

He is actually scared of it. He wants me to race it for him LOL. He has a beach house where he is going to store it. He told me I am welcome to stay there anytime and he will leave the keys for me so we can go cruising in it I took him for a joyride when he came to pay for it. I gave it a little squirt and he panicked. So much so, that I thought he was going to pull out of the deal
I’ve been in that situation. It’s like getting paid to drive and race your own car. He said “build it like you would build your own car.” OK. He didn’t even make it through a summer and sold it. Too much for him. The next guy was ALL-Chevy until that and it’s been one of his favorite cars ever since.
Yes I helped the previous owner of my car build the 350 for boost to my specs and then when “the car tried to break his neck” he sold it to me LOL
