i have a 68 custom conv. just picked it up in april needs love but runs and drives located in lowell ma.
Great thread and some beautiful verts here - I don't think that I posted my convertible here yet. Mine is a 1972 Skylark Custom convertible - fire red exterior with a white top and pearl white interior. So far I changed the wheels/tires. Also have a 3.23 posi to go in, a complete 4bbl intake set up with carb to swap in, rally gauges, GS hood, ram air cleaner and related parts, dual sport mirrors, and a sport steering wheel that just came in yesterday.
Naw, easy come, easy go. I wasn't attached to it, only had it since Spring. Besides, I still have my other 69 and a 70 convertible. :TU:
I picked this one up in the spring.Just went to my buddies body shop to get started on the frame up resto. It was a body shop gone wrong story for the guy I bought it from.Luckily all the hard to replace pieces were with the car
Yeah, ain't that cool. The body shop it was at was in need of some metal to patch one of the doors and fenders(I won't be using them)
I don't remember the snowou: must be the meds. How about the guys kitchen almost landing on your head when the eye that the engine was hanging on pulled out along with chunks of wood and dry-wall:kodak: I thought we were both done...
What an UGLY COLOR:beers2: Couldn't really read the data sheet but it looks like a relatively late production date. Have you had time to find the rest of the car?
