Delmos Speed Shop in Burbank has been pumping out these super clean turn key LS swaps complete with wiring. I dont care who you are, these are rad!
Those throttle body adapters are slick. Screenshot_2018-06-03-19-11-43-1-1.png Screenshot_2018-06-03-19-11-54-1.png Screenshot_2018-06-03-19-12-29-1-1.png Screenshot_2018-06-03-19-12-57-1.png

What are you saying I should have posted this in "the bench"?
Not looking to impress anyone, just thought what this dude was doing was pretty neat and figured others would too.

I think it's neat how they're dressed up. Would look far better than someone just plopping a 5.3 out of a truck into a classic car. Obviously the styling is geared toward the Chevy crowd, but that makes since given it'd be the largest demographic. I'm still not a fan of LS swaps into our Buicks, but that's just me, different strokes and what-not. But I can appreciate a creative/pretty engine, no matter the make. So I don't think posting this here is out of step at all.

Back to the point, I'd tend to agree, those are definitely more classy in appearance than most you'll see.

That's a neat idea. The unpainted aluminum never seems to look good for long. This is trivial at best but I've never liked the looks of the serpentine setup on the LS. It always looks so obtrusive. Painted black makes it better.

He does make VC adapters for Ford and Cadillac. Im sure he would make Buick ones if there was demand.

I really like how they used the old 283,327 valve covers, looks like they used A adapter to make them work on the newer heads, and like them painted Chevy orange. They would look good in A Chevrolet .

Since you asked, the "other bench" would of IMO been the right place for this.

Those are new iron with its regular camouflaged tech on it. Our old cars are NOT iron they are old STEEL, the engines are old iron. How is this new tech on an old engine?

But they do look like a cool transplant for a Chevy car.

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

Ask anyone I love the LS motors. I like them for the balance of power and fuel millage. Many ask me why I care about fuel millage on a old car ? I care because I drive my car a lot more than a lot of other people do and when you can get 25 mpg out of a LS and decent power. I think its a cool engine that is also lighter than the 350. I dont really compare the LS engine to a 455. When your in a GS with a 455 nothing beats the way it sits you back. I also think the LS like other things such as wheels, LED lights, ect ect have there please and audience. I don't like race car Buick's its not my thing but I don't get on here blasting about how it needs to stay all original and that its blasphemy to make a Buick a race car. We all enjoy our cars our own way and we all enjoy them being a Buick with our own modifications and our own taste. Have some tolerance for you fellow enthusiasts that are different than you. Its ok to have a opinion and we don't have to agree.

I had to chuckle... they made it look like the SBC that it really is.. 'corporate engine'..whatever..

It's a great idea for swaps into early Chevrolet iron, and nicely done. If I had a early big car or A body Chevrolet, it would be a natural choice.

I've got bad news for ya, it's only just beginning. The LS is getting better every year. You can either sing the blues or accept it for it is.

There is no distributor. I posted a pic of his coil pack relocation brackets. BUT there are distributor conversion kits and they run off the front cover so you could definitely fool some people.

My brother has a tripple black 55 Bel Air with a 327. Holley dp, stick shift, ford 9" 4.11s sitting on cragar SS. One of these would look right at home under the hood.
