Sure would be nice to have a "go to" person besides RL for these things.

Give John a call or message. He can probably give you an answer. I would think you would be good to go.

I spoke with Sid, all of us with Colonnades can park at the eastside part of the circle track until Friday. Then Friday morning we will have to move our rigs because that space is needed for the show. That means you would have to move the truck and trailer again and by Friday it is going to be hard to find a good spot for the rig. So for those of us that are towing lets try to park across the FIRST entrance of the circle track in the grass. Phil looks like you will be odd man out since you are racing. That is where I will try to be starting Wednesday.

hopefully Sid will designate a few parking spots in the show for Friday so that we all can be together. So, if you get to the show area first that Friday morning be sure to leave some space next to you for us . Let those guys know that we have about 5 that I know of so far.
ps: be great to get a real count of how many plan on being there.

Sounds good to me. As long as we are together for the show Friday all is good. You all certainly don't need me (Mr 73) by the trailers to hold your hand. ;):)

If the show is the same as last year and the year b4 I can't see you having to move,....car count has been LOW

Just read the GS Xtra that was posted and it doesn't look like we (Brent) will be able to park together if you are entering the "survivor class". Lassiter said that the concourse and survivor will have a designated parking place, all others will park together. It's a shame the 50th anniversary cars of the year regardless of class couldn't all be together. I'm open for suggestions or thoughts.

Ethan, you are saying I can park my trailer with the BSA class or the GSR class area?

I was hoping I wasn't going to need to make this post, but I won't be able to make it to Bowling Green. I was looking forward to celebrating the car's May build and delivery dates in the appropriate company of the greatest gathering of 73 and 74 GS and Stage-1s probably ever. The only time the car has been to a Nats is when my Dad and I brought it to Columbus in 1999.

I hope you all have easy travels and a wonderful week in Kentucky!

As it turned out, all things fell apart last week as my plans to attend the Nationals went totally south at the start of the week. I had a lot of drama and Bullshit and all I can say is I'm getting to damn old trying to run a convenience store and liquor store at the same time, and also we had our annual 'Early Rod Run' here in Atwood, KS. on the same weekend as the Nats. so we had nearly 300 cars in town last weekend. The help situation in America really sucks today, I have 5 employees working for me and they all knew my travel plans months ago and as our local car show starting getting closer, excuses started to roll in why people couldn't work. I had to cover some of the shifts last week! I can go on and on about what happened here last weekend, but what I would really like to know is how many 73-74 Centurys, Regals, and Gran Sports showed up at the Nationals and are there any photos of them all lined up together? If anybody has any photos please post up for all to see. Thanks, Larry.

Sorry nothing special happened at BG for the 1973-74 cars. There were about 6 or so there, 3-4 were busy racing, and on Friday Fernando and his beautiful blue Stage 1 was in the Concourse class, I was in the Survivor
Class, and the others were in the BSA class. I’m not sure if Fernando got a Silver or Gold, my Green 73 received a Gold In Survivor class. Phil Roitman won the BSA title which is way cool. 7A713E15-61E0-4F44-A329-919894374393.jpeg

Here is a pic of my 73 and a yellow 74. We both raced GSR. A silver 73 and Phil’s copper 73 raced BSA. the green survivor and blue 4 speed car were on display Friday. A total of six that I saw.

Brent I had to steal your photo idea, it is awesome. It was a real honor to get the Concours Gold. 35+ years attending the Nationals and first time I take the 73. Happy 50th to the Colonnades!
