Was your car ever at Then and Now in 2016-2017?

You bring a spare. It’s like any trip in our old cars, plan ahead. Remember you only live once and time gets away from us, I missed every BG from 1991-2019 and wish I hadn’t.

Ha! It took me 50 years to rid the car of at least one pair of whitewalls (sorry Dad!).

Is there a build thread on the car and have you raced it? I love the pro street, I trailer mine most of the time.

things are looking much better for me today, than last week. Hoping to get my carburetor back from Ken by the end of the week so I can get it running. Mean while I'll keep cleaning her up. Then I will be down to getting the tires from Rusty. I'll keep my fingers cross!

I'm planning on driving the 74 Regal Colonnade that I got in Denver a few years ago. It only has 55k actual miles on it, and drives like a low mileage car. But it does show it's age with some repainted areas and such. I've got to change the rear diff. and trans. fluids yet and do some detailing and then road-trip time!! The only other time I drove a Buick to the Nats. was back in 1989 in a 1970 StageI I had. It's time to have some fun again. Larry. :D

Great car for a road-trip. Was it the clean black one out of Pueblo I saw a few years back?

I think all the Colonnades should all be parking together in BG, judged or not. It is the beginning 50th year of our cars and they should be admired and appreciated together.

    Right!

There should be a themed display/area every year & as I've said many times, also a designated parking area for non-show Buicks. @bherbert, who's going for his 1st time this year (driving his Riv.) asked me if there such a parking area:(.

This car was on Craigslist out of Denver, The woman who sold it said it was owned by her grandfather who bought it new. She inherited it from his estate and kept it for awhile and then decided it should go to someone who would appreciate it more, hence I answered the call. It's burnish brown with a brown vinyl top, painted road wheels, etc. Larry.

will I be OK to park there too, even thou I m not racing? Does this need to be approved by the coordinators? What section or row in the circle track? Brent (green one) and possibly Dave with the brown one will also expected to be there. Do I need to run this by Sid or Scorda Jr for approval?
