well, I have a great big hole in my floor, a shifter sticking out and that is all. which hump, and boot to use? I have a hurst super boot that is in real nice shape, I laid it over the hole and it looked like crap since the hole isn't level. I suppose that is what they make the hump for. help...... please. :beer

There are several threads here about humps. Try a search for "hump". I can tell you many, including me, use the Chevelle hump. You can get it from Year One, #A670E, and many other places. There is another place in FL that claims to have a reproduction hump, but I don't know of anyone who has tried it yet. And there are no pictures. Can't remember the site, but your search should turn it up in a thread. Musclecar something, I think. I had to enlarge the opening in the Chevelle hump.

As for the boot, I have a console so I got the upper boot from Year One. I got the lower boot from Cars, Inc., #SB682. It seems to have the perfect shape to fit down over the side of the hump and still be level at the top, but the quality is marginal in my opinion. It's under the console in my case so I don't care. I would still consider it, though, even without the console because it does seem to fit so well.

I did a search, however all of the 'U shift 'em" section of the board got wiped out last year when the board crashed, so the info is not clear. we should figure it out then make a sticky...

    hump

    Hey,

I used the hump off of a '68 GTO along with the boot & ring. Looks factory stock with the Hurst Super Comp shifter.

I think some say they hacw used a 66 Chevelle and there is a new place that claims( not verifiified )to make the correct one. But check the threads on this. There are many.
