Where to find exhaust

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a cheap muffler shop in the downtown Cleveland (Ohio) area. I'm also open to areas west of Cleveland, or in east Lorain county. (Basically, near my school or my home.)

Its a 1970 Skylark with a simple 350. There are no modifications, and the car is rusted out - I simply need it drivable. Would prefer single exhaust due to funding issues, but hear that may be hard to come by. I can install it myself if I can find parts cheap enough to justify the time.

Also, I remember a post from a few months ago (but cannot find it) about a parts store in or near Medina, Ohio, that stocked a lot of parts for older cars. Does anyone know of this store?

    Thanx,

    How Embarassing

Yes, that poor rusted out Skylark in the E. 22 lot (CSU parking) is mine. Ignore the rust holes and duct-taped top, LOL. It used to be in great shape, and maybe one day will be again. It saw me faithfully through my undergrad, and now has to see out my grad.

Thanx for the line on the muffler shop. I got on the net and searched for local muffler shops (the number for Affordable) didn't seem to work - I'll have to try again) and made a lot of calls.

They all seem to want about $300 for duel, installed. For single, either they can only get expensive Y-pipes, or have to make their own, and the cost is too close; I'll get the duels. There is a place about 3 blocks from the dorm, so I'll probably go there next week. Hopefully I won't discover any engine noises when its done.

Applying for the PD? Good luck. What did you apply for? One of my BA's is in journalism, and I wrote for a weekly in Avon Lake (The PRESS) for 6 years.

Good luck with the PD. A few years back, while I worked at a high school, we took the students on a tour of the PD printing facility. They have a very nice setup.

Have you also applied at the Chronicle-Telegram in Elyria. I hesitate to mention the Lorain Morning Journal (if they have their own press) due to conceptual conflicts of how Journalism should be - but hey, a job is a job.
