I have a 68 GS convert and I am installing some of the trim items. First is there any specific spot on the left door for the GM mark of excellence? The door jamb wedge plates they are secured by a phillips head beveled fastner, but is it a machine screw or a sheet metal type screw like those used on the step plates? The tire pressure sticker is it supposed to be on the glove box door inside the glove box? Or is it supposed to be on the left door below the GM emblem? Some of these things I just do not remember, guess I am getting old,lol. Anyone help me with these little items?
1. Haven't seen themark of excellence decals onthe 68 GS's. Not saying they weren't there... Just haven't seen them on the low, low mileage cars I have evaled. 2. Very small, tapered philips head screws. There are pics here on the board somewhere. 3. Tire pressure decal- on the inside of the glove box door- on the left. I think there are 2 round depressions for cups? Put it in the left one.
