ok tnx for the headsup I will keep that in mind. The 12 bolt is an aftermarket Moser piece with C-clip eliminators 33 spline Moser axles, and will get a Strange spool. But I will sure to look at the axle welds! :3gears: Tnx Robert
Comes from an old Looney Tunes cartoon character named Tweety Bird. Try this site to hear the sound clips. http://www.nonstick.com/sounds/ These cartoons may be the high point of American culture.
http://www.markwilliams.com/detail.aspx?ID=793 While your there you should get a good billet cap and a TA cover/girdle. You will only need the driver's side cap because under power the spool will push out towards the cover and the pass side will push into the diff housing. With the cap, cover and welded axle tubes it won't let you down..... Chris This is from the Mark Williams web site. One of the most common causes of rear end component failure can be traced to the stock rear end caps. To cure this problem MW makes a replacement cap from billet steel with an increased cross section and heat treated hardware. A 12 Bolt typically only needs the drivers side cap replaced. Requires simple milling operation.
