Best head gasket to use, ta performance shows a 1723b, and 1723b.041. What is the difference of the " performance 1723b.041 ", to the 1723b ? My engine will be in 10.3-10.5 range, eddy heads. Or would recommend another ?

I've been using the 1723C - Orange Crush gaskets (which are black, BTW). I think that'd be better than either.

    Fel blues are fine

But to answer your question based off the part #s one is .041 compressed thickness the other is more more than likely probably 50 something

What head gasket thickness do you need to achieve appropriate squish/quench?

Orange crush gaskets are a pain in the ass due to all the required retorquing. Took me a couple days before they settled down

I also heard that about the orange crush bit of a pain. So I was trying to not use them and my comp. ratio is 10:3. I need around .040 thick.
