what kind of trans

    i have 1966 rivi and it needs trans rebuilt , anyone know what trans it might be 425 nailhead motor

    Have a trans shop order the rebuild parts after THEY identify it. There is a strong chance that the variable switch trans was swapped out for a regular 400 over the years. Most shops won’t warranty a rebuild unless they supply the parts anyways.
