    gs4u2c Is that a 442?

Trying to figure out how much a 69 Wildcat coupe is worth.. 430, runs fair, AC, PW, posi, Rally wheels, manual Bench, carpet removed (no rust), vinyl top removed, very minor body damage to drivers corner. Needs paint, vinyl top, some mechanical work and upholstery..

    Thanks

The 69 Wildcat. Probably the best deal, pricewise, left in the Buick community. People often ask alot, but the demand isn't there yet. This one you mention sounds neat and well optioned with PW and a POSI!!!! If its solid, I'd say up to $2000. If its got the lower body rust-out starting, then maybe $1000 tops if its not totally full of holes.

Thanks Dan. This car has no rust, even around the back window, which really surprised me for a vinyl top car.

Is this car the gold one?

Is this the car that was parked with "for sale" signs near I-90 in Issaquah a couple of months ago? That car was gold in color. I stopped for a closer look, and thought at the time that this would be a great project car. '69 Wildcats are beautiful and rarely seen.

Same car, what were they asking for it then?

    What were they asking then?

Tim, I cannot remember for certain, but I believe that they were asking about $2,500. Given the restoration work that would be required, I'd peg the value at about $1,800 maximum.
