I have the above tilt column in good shape, missing the key ignition switch. What are they going for? I also thought that I might put it in my floor shift 70 GS that has a non-tilt column presently. Any changes that would be needed to be done to the above tilt column to install in the 70 GS such as connectors, etc? Thanks!
Should be a bolt in. You'll probably need a new floor plate seal but that's about it. If you do decide on a price, I'd be interested in it for my new convertible.
455 had specific lower shaft with clamp on flange as most others welded on. Not sure if they are transferable. Beware of that if you have 455.
It will fit like a glove. Just change you 70 style key, change at the firewall and keep your original lower shaft. Hope all is well Carl. Nelson
