    I'd have to double check....but

I recall those numbers were used on cars destined to Canada (or export). That is why you can't make heads or tails out of them. :Smarty:

I think that about settles it.

Looking at the color in that brochure it's a pretty close match.

Plus it was only available on the GS.

PS: How much for the brochure?

I found another fire glow car. GSJeff from the BCA site has a California with it.

    1969 GS California

I sent him an email. I hope he's a member here or becomes one. He has a huge store of parts.

I mentioned it was blank and linked this thread. I hope he comes over and contributes.

He has a nice stable of cars too. :)

    special paint

I bought a 73 Centurion convert new with 73 Vette LeMans green paint. Had an extra charge on the sticker. It was a "zone car" but never went into zone service. Also know of one 72 LeSabre 4dr ht painted Mopar "Plum Crazy" at the factory. Back then, anything was possible. Cad did it all the time. Other GM divisions not so much. Sometimes the cowl tag would read "SO" or "SP ORD" when non-standard trim or paint was used. Varied by division, year and plant.

    Hey David,

Small world, that is Jeff Cornish, he lives here in WA state! Matter of fact, I just saw him last month at a show in Snohomish. He was also at the Buick Open earlier this year (June), and so was your car, and I am pretty sure he saw it. If you don't hear back from him soon, let me know, and I can try to get in touch with him.

He is a great guy and awesome resource for 68/69 parts!

Thanks Chris. He emailed me right back.

After I emailed him I was looking at the pics and saw your car. You were one over from his blue GS.

He also gave me a lead on a guy that has a lot of parts for 69 GS's. I just talked to him and he's going to call me back.
