After making the mounts, making the cross member, buiding the motor and trans, installing th 8.5 Rear the 455 is now bolted down and a part the Regal Wagon!!!!!! Almost ready to fire! I modified the A/C box to allow for a better fit and clearance. Remember I live in FL.... A/C is almost manditory! Plates were welded to the frame in lieu of bolting them down. Also ran all ne wfuel and brake lines and a new gas tank. Cant wait for the Discover bill!

Building the steel wheel wells next! Those plastic ones are such a fire hazzard!

Now that's gonna be a sweet ride! I understand the importance of A/C down here and I would rather keep the AC compressor than adding a turbo setup to my Regal...:bglasses:

Amen to that! I actually converted my system to a V5 134 compressor from a 91 Cavalier and instead of running 134 in the R4 Harrison compressor I installed a true 134 compressor. Works really well. Nothing like 500 HP with A/C and 2 car seats in the back! :3gears:

Here is a few more pics. Also a pic of the car at the BPG Nats right after I got it and put a 350 in it. Also the new gas tank and the propery bended lines. I got a hold of a GN rear, hood, and rims. Will be painting it Green to make it a true Dragon Wagon! George N wants me to paint scales on it.... not sure bout that part but considering it. :)

After looking at your pics I was wondering why you did not detail out the engine bay before you set the motor in place. That nice shiney 455 looks outta place against the dirt and rust.

I thought about it, but I tend to get carried away and since time is a pure enemy of mine, and the car is a driver, I didn't see it is a priority. See if I was to detail it, everything in the engine bay would have to have come out. Then when I took it out I would find rust, then I would be cutting it apart to fix the rust, then I would decide I might as well do a body off restoration while I am at it. Plus summer is coming and I dont like welding when it is 100 degrees outside. I wanted to get the thing in and running. I will clean everything up when I paint it this fall. My kids are starting to forget what their Daddy looks like.

Jon, I wondered what happened to you when you weren't at Columbus last year.

Wagon's looking good and stepping up with the powerplant. Nice! And a true DUAL exhaust to boot! Inconceivable!

I'm in the market for a new wagoon but this one will be for towing so it has to be a larger model.

Hey Mike, I moved away from Ohio to sunny FL about 1 month before the Nats. The wagon sure is getting its fair share of attention! I cant wait to fire it up! I still need to have a driveshaft made, but most everything else is just bolting right on. It will still be an A/C car too! Hows the 65 GS coming along? Always been my favorite year! I bought a 99 Suburban for towing. Very reasonably priced with the gas prices right now. Makes me question the decision everytime I fill it up. 44 gallon tank at $4/gallon... I have been off the board for awhile, but I am back to offer my expert advice now. :Smarty: Ha!

Jon, where did you get that dual oil pressure sending unit? I also want to hook up my manual oil pressure gauge with the stock in dash.
