Larry, Reading all of this brings back alot of memories for me. Back in 1984 our 2nd daughter was born 6 weeks early and had all sorts of problems. She was in the neonatal ICU unit at San Diego University Hospital for a while, we too had to leave her there and trust in the doctors and nurses, boy was it hard. I'm pulling for you. Our daughter is now 24 years old and recently married. Your little girl can do it too!:TU:
Hey Larry, sending out prayers to you and your family. My wife and I had complications with her first pregnancy at 5 months and unfortunately our child didnt make it. Nothing can ever take that pain away but the prayers and the thoughfulness from family and friends can definitely make it a little easier to deal with. May God watch over your family.
Latest news.... On Tuesday 2/19 our daughter was rushed to the hospital once again....they removed 8oz of fluid off her belly and she is still in the hospital. She never had the operation as previously planned, the doctor changed her mind about it. We hope that with more testing tomorrow we will know more and have an answer/direction as to where to go from here and having a 2nd set of doctors looking at her we might have a better 2nd opinion. Thanks for keeping our daughter in your thoughts and prayers! Larry

Latest news..... Our baby girl was rushed to The Childrens Hospital of Philidelphia (CHOP) on February 28th from New Brunswick NJ. As of right now they have diagnosed her condition as Caudal Regression Syndrome.....her lower back bone is deformed and has basically has cut off her nerves controlling her bowel functions and urinating. Things could be alot worse with this disease, like not being able to walk and death, but in her case she's quite strong in her legs and there isn't any other problem then those 2 things. The doctors there are currently looking in to treatment options for her and we will know more as the week progresses, unfortunatly there wont be a permanent fix, only ways to help her along through life. As she gets older then the hospital (CHOP) will look into other options as to how to treat her. Its not a victory by any means, but at least were finally getting answers and 1 step closer to having her home soon. Larry
Larry, we will continue to pray for Victoria. CHOP is known to be a great hospital, so she is in good hands.
