I put a 425 in a 52 Buick Super. I have lots of room between my water pump and radiator. Has anyone ever heard or experienced problems with a 4 inch spacer between fan and water pump. I am using a 7 blade 19 inch diameter fan with 4 inch spacer. I drove it 1200 miles last year with no problems but next summer we will be putting some serious miles on the car. I got to wondering about the water pump bearing being up to supporting the big fan 4 inches away from normal mounting.
