Looking for a really nice radio block-off plate for my ‘67. I need one in better condition than the one I have now. #1375419 on the backside

I have located one where I live but the person is not responding to my emails so hopefully he'll respond soon. It looks to be very clean from the pictures.

TTT. Still looking. This would be a great Christmas present for my '67 GS400 sedan.

I've touched up a few spots on my ribbed dash using a Molotow chrome paint pen. It does have a nice near-chrome finish. Pits will have to be scraped clean before applying the paint. It won't make it look new, but it will be an improvement.
There were once plastic repo plates avail on eBay, but were unfinished (not chromed). Must have been 15+ years ago.

I've tried so many times to reach out to the guy with the one local to me and never get a response back. He only has an email address and no phone number to call.

I think if you went after the one you have with a pick tool and wire brush you might be surprised how much the pitting will come out. If you already did disregard.

Thanks Rick! I'll let you know if this works out.

I haven't tried it yet but I'll give it a shot.

That's the one I'm trying to get in touch with the guy about, he's not far from me but doesn't respond. He keeps renewing the ad too.

Thanks guys. I will keep that in mind if I can't find a really nice original. I'm not sure what would be the best way to make it look like an original metal plate.

Still looking for a nice radio block off plate that's not pitted. They are still out there because I missed out on a PAIR of these with no pitting that sold on eBay for $39 on 2/10/23.

Thanks for the message but someone else spotted it about five hours before I saw it so I was second in line (first loser).

    The search continues.
