If the visor constantly drops, what is it that has to be done?. I have pass side + can the mount be used. Or does the rod have to be shimmed. ? Can the visor just deteriorat and come loose on the rod..?

Usually there is a plastic bushing that goes in the mount piece pictured. Then the screw tightens it.

I have sometimes needed to use Loctite on the screw or it will come loose again.

Hmmm, I need to try that on my Rear view mirror screw.
    Thanks Duane.

    Troy,
Yeah I used the loctite that doesn’t lock it solid. I think it was the blue and not the red.

I mean what can you expect from a 50+ year old screw. (No pun intended)
