Hope all of you are well!
I'm looking for a complete vacuum line set or as complete as I can get. I'm trying to finish everything on the firewall inside and out. (69 Skylark Custom w/AC, 350) Where would be the best place to look? I believe the originals were color coded. That would help but I do not have to be original. I just need it to work.. Thanks in advance!

I've got some "Kits" in the works also but not quite ready . . . .

Thanks Utah455, from the looks of this, the "kits" will be generic and I'll have to go to the service manual for connection. Not a problem compared to the "engineering" work I've had to do so far. I was lucky enough to find a donor car so I tear it apart to find out how to put this one together.. o_O:oops:

    This may help a bit . . . .

I found the lengths to be "around" the following. . . . (Guideline only) Your results may vary. :)

    Vacuum Tree to:
    to Vacuum Advance 14"
    to TCS switch 8"
to "T" (For Air Cleaner) 6"
    TCS to Carb 14"

    I haven't recorded the Air Cleaner lengths yet . . . .

This information will be provided with my Kits once I get them ready . . . . (in my spare time) Lol

Thanks Todd, do you have the ID of these lines? I think most of the lines connecting the A/C and switchs are 1/8" ID. What do you think about the silicone? I'll have to replace all of them so without a specific "kit", I'll be cutting to length anyway.

    They're 5/32" OD

ID is probably close to or at 1/8"

I think I have a bunch of these somewhere--not as good as Todd's kits, of course. I will check and see what I can find.

    Cheers,

Todd—can you post a picture of the end so we can see the thickness of the wall of the tubing? Most 5/32 that I see seems to much thicker than OEM.

I'll work on this over the weekend. . . . I have 2) Brands of Tubing to choose from. I'll post both.

I didn't have time to get a photo but a quick measurement on the Standard Black Vacuum Hose I have is 5/16 outside diameter. This seems to match so 50 year old vacuum hose I have here from a customers car.

I also have the Black with White Stripe Vacuum hose which is a tad thicker. (Closer to 3/8" outside diameter)

If that helps let me know. Otherwise I can still post photos at some point . . . .

I hope to have these "KITS" on my website this weekend. I plan to offer a "Pre-Cut" set and a set length that will allow enough tubing for the customer to cut to the length they desire.
Both will include the Factory Routing Diagram as well.

Here's a side by side picture of the Vacuum tubing included in my Kit next to an original tube that still plugged into a TCS switch . . . . . (Same size!)

    Both are 5/32” O.D.?

I'm not at the shop now but as mentioned the factory hose is still on the Solenoid so if that was the factory size they're a dead match. The tubing I have is listed as 5/32" O.D. :)
