Using Holley supersniper to control switch pitch and kickdown

  1. Installed a holley supersniper to a -67 430 riviera about a week ago, and the engine is working beatifully, i think its way better then fitech i had
before. Earlier i’ve been tickering with sp and kd with all sort of switch/wires/diod combos, but now with holley its kind of cool when i can adjust them both exactly where i want them to be with a laptop
    Couldnt be happier
Does anyone have info where they were originally adjusted? Now i’ve adjusted sp to tps40% and kd to tps85%. My riviera didnt have sp or idle switch at all when i got it...

Original switch pitch function was high stall at idle, low stall off idle, and back to high stall above 60% throttle. Kick down was full throttle only due mainly to the SP valve body. Is your switch pitch all stock, or are you using a smaller converter and/or later valve body?

  3. Okay. Thanks for your reply and for the info. I have all stock converter and valve body.
