I found me a trans brake the other day

I just need to wire the NOS to shut off when the rev limiter is on, buy a new solenoid as mine went south for some reason, and make a few 180 shot passes

rev limiters are for Quitters Stop listening to Bobb and put a 250 shot and let her go. as long as you shift it will be fine.

Actually Bobb said hit it with 250 on he dyno, Geof said "NO", lol. That could have been 900 + NUMBER:Dou:

If all goes well with the 180 I am sure the 1/4 shot will soon follow :)

The mighty Tetnus #1 will not be making the trip this year, bummer. I will be there though. I will look you up again, but this Time I wont leave my card in the mud, lol.

My tow vehicle is not yet up to speed for a long trip so hopefully next year I can race it there. We are taking the car to Norwalk the weekend after the nats!!

No. If you had a spool and slicks I might be worried. Call Moser sometime and ask them what they think about your 8.5" . They seem to think it can be as strong as the old 12 bolt with the right parts.

I do plan on going to Atco or Englishtown this summer for my first time ever ... TRACK-DUTY:3gears:, and I am going to buy Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials for daily/dry days.

I will call Moser this week and ask them also.

Huh, looks like every time I went wot I was pulling 4deg out of the timing. oops, forgot to put the zero deg chip in the box. lol.

Well we will see in norwalk next weekend whats it worth on just pump gas and all the timing. Doubt I'll spray it. Trans brake is in and half wired

I used the trans brake two weeks ago and went 4 rounds before I fell asleep at the light. Ran .020 lights then a .003 . decided to "slow down" I guess that is hard to do with the button. But hey, it works great!

I do however need to work on the carb a bit. It hits pretty hard with the button and the car will lift the front tires, then fall on its face for a bit, then hammer. I only had a 3000 rpm chip in as well.

The car wants to win pretty bad though. It ran 3 perfect dial in numbers!!!!

Next week wed we have a plan. Trans brake it with no chip in to see where it revs to. Drop the rpm by 500 with the chip. Then lean out the carb until it hammers all the way through. Then dump the bottle  into it for a pass!

Then the week following: Scrap the 373 rear end gear for 411. Send out the converter and go from 3400 to 4800- 5000 rpm... Whamo, drag the bumper

    Hi.

Ran a 10.46 at 124 last night on the bottle, 175 shot. Blew the tires off the line, and again at 300'. Then I let off again at 800-1000' as I was bouncing the rev limiter at 6400. I forgot to up the chip before i left for the track. 1.7 60'.

The track sucked and was running slow so we didn't have time to change the car tune up. The best part about the "ride" was after the run I was looking for my phone. It flew out of my side pants pocket and shot under the rear seat and ended up against the rear firewall!!!! too funny.

We might try again next friday...

The guy next to me was 4 mph slower than me at 1000' and he ran 10.0, I was off the gas already! I want a 9 before I see snow
