That is pretty sweet! Shocked you don't have a few more subscribers

This is too small of a community to be tearing each other down. I'm sure many who might even consider building up a small block Buick come across some of these comments and end up discouraged.

You end up discouraged because the original OP should be or should have already had this together, running and posting about its success. This thread has been here for a very long time. This has nothing about tearing people down, it's we are tired of hearing about something that never gets done.
Maybe Mr Buick#455 should write the book. Why would this guy have his car running and making passes when the OP is still scrambling to make anything happen, don't forget this turbo was his idea to make happen besides Burton, most of this has gone nowhere. So don't blame me for this no show aint my fault.

I have nothing against anyone making a 350 Buick happen, but don't get on here and talk about it for 10 years and never make it happen, That is a diservice to the 350 crowd.
It only took me 6 years to get the car painted, new interior, new suspension all the way around, new brakes, disc with Camaro front spindles for handling, new tires and rims, and finally getting the motor rebuilt with everything replaced along with the heads ported and a day on the dyno. Plus 2004r rebuilt and I put in

350 Turbo, great nice to see it happen but, can it hold up to several runs into high gear running out a 1/4 mile or so. I have over 50 runs on nitrous running that hard.
So lets check the longtivity of this 350 rocket.
    Peace out Rock on

I agree, we’re not downing anyone, but we get excited about wild or different 350 builds but then nothing, kinda like the guy at work that talks up his “Really fast Camaro” but you never see it, or if you do it’s on a trailer all apart, then he mentions “Hey you wanna go to TNT next week? I’ll bring my car in”
“Ok, cool” I’ll drive my GS to go to 42 after work for TNT, he ends up with excuses:rolleyes::(
I would go by myself and have fun, make 3 passes then head home.
Doesn’t matter if it runs 16’s after your build up, post it here, and everyone helps you go faster, even the big block guys chime in!
I was a 15.1 first time out, now I’m @ 13.4 EVERYONE here helped me do that :D

I'm not discouraged at all, I've been up & running since 2012. Built a stroker back in 2016, been running hard ever since. Beat the **** out of it all day long, no issues for 10 years, except the cam lobe that wiped out(I bought the Poston 114 cam used, so it could have been worn already.....) & a blown head gasket due to a Hotspot as the exhaust manifold had a pin hole leak in it.....

From what I can see, the OP hasn't posted in this thread since 2020.....

Fox & Demko you guys are poking the bear for no reason aren't ya??? Is that encouraging??

Hope you get those turbos ironed out. Those GN's at the Nats are running 9's with ease it seems. Sound funny but they go like hell, and just 6cyl's to boot!

    Who's the bear?
After 10 years you probably been to the track and ran what a 10.50 ? That is where it should be since the GN's go that easily I been there I had to race them, I beat a few at Norwalk.

No, actually I would like to see Sean get this thing running or use a different car if he thinks the tubbed car is not stable enough to run at a high speed. it looks rough to drive in those videos.
If he wants to be the go to guy on here for 350 information and write a book about all this insanity then he should at least put the iron headed car together with what ever parts he wants to use and go to dyno or go to track or wherever you need to go, get your results and tell what worked or what didn't. You can't just try and go to the moon you will wait forever to get the parts together.
Put the aluminum heads on as is and see what happens he volunteered to do all this testing, just put one together and lets see what the heck happens.
Put the 12.1 motor with iron heads then use the alums stock then use the alums modified. See, all the iron headed stuff should have been done already then he could concentrate on the alums.
Everyone is waiting for the turbo car is there something wrong with taking a jab and asking where the heck it is, you can't keep the billet crank frozen forever. lolol

I just don't understand the concept of building a hot rod and not going to the track where Don Garlits or John Force or maybe Bob Glidden that drove down the 1/4 mile. I just think going to that same spot at the tree and watching those lights come down and now you see the green and you get to do what these guys just did 2 weeks ago when they were there, I just think that is the greatest thing there is. Going down the street and standing on it for a gear is just not the same, unless you put the speedo at the D on the dashboard then were talkin!
    peace out
