Evening, I am trying to find additional places on a 1971 Buick Skylark 350 2bbl engine to add
new under the dash oil pressure and temperature gauges other than the original spots.

I would like to keep the idiot lights and just add the two other gauges.

Is it possible and if so where do i place the new sensors?

    Thanks in advance

    Dennis

There are only 2 spots on the front of the intake for a coolant sensor. One has the idiot light sender, the other has the thermo vacuum switch for the Transmission Controlled Spark emissions system. Ditch the thermo vacuum switch, you don't need it.

Oil pressure is easy, just run a tee,

Be sure purchase the copper line for the oil pressure gauge not the plastic.

or use a braided steel line they do make one that fits each end you do not have to make it
