I have a truetrac with my stock axles and 1971-72 8.5 rear.
I don't know my part number, but my friends 79 TransAm needs a posi and want to know if mine will fit his c-clip 10 bolt.
Also considering Strange or Moser 30 splime axles and Truetrac for my 71-72 rear and want to know if 913a481 is correct for that.
I would like a price for a ready to ship and install kit from someone on this site.

Anything that is made for c-clip axle will work with bolt-in axles. All of the newer units have provisions for c-clips,so they can be used for both. There is a small puck and plug that is inserted for the c-clip applications. The 913A481 is the correct unit to upgrade to 30-spline shafts. I have all of this if you need anything.

    Thanks,
So my truetrac will need a puck and plug for the swap to the Trans Am and the good bearings are already on it, right?
I will be considering a 30 spline swap and maybe 3.42 or 3.23 gears included.

If you don’t have the puck/plug from yours,I have plenty of them.
