A couple of us have been running this class lately and wondered why can't we have one in Bowling Green. There are a lot of pros about going to something that makes sense and you don't have to set up a car to run all that different type events each time. You basically run anything as long it is a true legal car that makes a 30 mile cruise and returns to the lanes and make 3 consecutive passes. You run the clock not your opponent. It is set up with indexes 7's,8's,9's 10' up to 15 second class. An average of the 3 passes closes to the index wins that index. It is a lot of fun and defines a real street car vs a racecar. I have been asked to ask you guys on your thoughts! So here I am asking what the possibilities to consider this.

I think its a great idea the problem is finding someone willing to take the time to organize and run it. I wont be in a position to participate in this at the moment but if it became a regular deal every year I would definitely get involved. Also you might want to consider posting this on the bench if you don't seem to be getting many responses,I'm not sure how many people keep tabs on the events forum. Good luck.

I like it also, but don't know if participation would be high enough. I would interested in running it.

I think its a great idea:eek2: and very competitive, and since its index racing, it allows nearly anyone the opportunity to race and WIN. Its a blast to run a 30 mile drive and make 3 consecutive passes without touching the car except for tire pressure, and is designed for real street cars, without slicks. I would be happy to assist with this class and would enjoy seeing this a success. It's quiet simple, as we could follow NMCA Rules and classes, and I have had experience and won along with another GN that won his class last year at our local event.
    Just my thoughts!
